Tanzkunst auf Weltniveau im Schloss Bückeburg – „Le Bal Du Prince“ begeistert Gäste und Künstlerinnen aus aller Welt

Am 28. und 29. Juni verwandelte sich das prachtvolle Schloss Bückeburg erneut in einen Ort voller Eleganz, Leidenschaft und internationaler Tanzkunst: Le Bal Du Prince, auch bekannt als der Fürstenball, zog Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus fünf Kontinenten sowie ein begeistertes Publikum in seinen Bann.
Im Rahmen des Events fanden mehrere hochkarätige Wettbewerbe in den Disziplinen Standard, Latein, American Smooth, American Rhythm, Paartanz und Solo Dance statt. Besonders im Fokus standen die beliebten ProAm-Wettbewerbe, bei denen ambitionierte Tanzbegeisterte gemeinsam mit ihren professionellen Partnern auf die Bühne traten – ein Konzept, das an die erfolgreiche TV-Show „Let’s Dance“ erinnert, aber auf künstlerisch noch höherem Niveau stattfindet.
Das Teilnehmerfeld war ebenso international wie herausragend: Zahlreiche ehemalige und amtierende Welt- und Europameister sowie Finalisten bedeutender Tanzkunstwettbewerbe bildeten das Jurorenteam – und waren sich in ihrem Urteil einig: „Le Bal Du Prince“ ist weltweit einzigartig.
„Wir haben viele Veranstaltungen erlebt – aber was hier entstanden ist, ist außergewöhnlich. Das Schloss, die Atmosphäre, das Niveau – ein echtes Juwel“, so der Tenor unter den internationalen Juroren, die weltweit mit den renommiertesten Bühnen vertraut sind.
Ein besonderes Highlight war der ausverkaufte Galaball, der in den festlich geschmückten Sälen des Schlosses stattfand. Nach einem stilvollen Sektempfang wurden die Gäste musikalisch von einer Harfenistin empfangen und konnten anschließend die Grand Finals der Vorrunden in einem unvergleichlichen Ambiente erleben. Zwischen den Darbietungen gehörte die Tanzfläche den Gästen selbst – ein glanzvoller Abend, der durch eine brillante japanische Violinistin künstlerisch bereichert wurde.
Als Schirmherr steht Fürst Alexander zu Schaumburg-Lippe der Veranstaltung mit seiner ideellen Unterstützung vor. Auch wenn er in diesem Jahr nicht persönlich anwesend sein konnte, ist seine verbundene Haltung gegenüber der Tanzkunst und dem kulturellen Geschehen in seiner Residenzstadt ein bedeutendes Zeichen der Wertschätzung.
Hinter diesem außergewöhnlichen Format stehen die beiden Veranstalter Mark Rudi, in Bückeburg bekannt durch Marks Tanzschule, und Dirk Bastert. Gemeinsam haben sie unter dem Namen Finest Events GbR ein Ereignis ins Leben gerufen, das bereits jetzt als fester Bestandteil des internationalen Tanzkalenders gilt – und weit darüber hinaus als Bühne für künstlerische Ausdruckskraft, Eleganz und Begegnung.

World-Class Dance Art at Bückeburg Palace – “Le Bal Du Prince” Enthralls Guests and Artists from Around the Globe
On June 28 and 29, the magnificent Bückeburg Palace once again transformed into a place of elegance, passion, and international dance artistry. Le Bal Du Prince, also known as the Fürstenball, captivated artists from five continents and an enthusiastic audience alike.
The event featured several prestigious competitions across disciplines such as Standard, Latin, American Smooth, American Rhythm, Partnered Dance, and Solo Dance. A particular focus was placed on the popular ProAm competitions, in which ambitious dance enthusiasts performed alongside their professional partners – a concept reminiscent of the hit TV show “Let’s Dance”, though presented here on an even higher artistic level.
The lineup of participants was as international as it was exceptional. The judging panel included numerous former and current World and European Champions as well as finalists from major dance art competitions – and they were unanimous in their verdict: “Le Bal Du Prince” is truly unique on a global scale.
“We’ve experienced many events around the world – but what has been created here is extraordinary. The palace, the atmosphere, the level of artistry – a true gem,” was the consensus among the internationally renowned judges.
A particular highlight was the sold-out Gala Ball, held in the festively adorned halls of the palace. After a sophisticated champagne reception, guests were welcomed by the enchanting sound of a harpist before witnessing the Grand Finals of the preliminary rounds in an unforgettable setting. Between the performances, the dance floor was open to the guests themselves – a glamorous evening further enhanced by a brilliant Japanese violinist.
Prince Alexander of Schaumburg-Lippe serves as the patron of the event, offering his symbolic and cultural support. While he was not able to attend in person this year, his continued commitment to the arts and cultural life of his residence city stands as a strong expression of appreciation and support.
Behind this exceptional format stand the two organizers: Mark Rudi, well known in Bückeburg through Marks Tanzschule, and Dirk Bastert. Together, under the name Finest Events GbR, they have created an event that has already established itself as a firm fixture on the international dance calendar – and far beyond that, as a platform for artistic expression, elegance, and meaningful connection.
